During the EUROPEADE festival, thousands of Europeans will once again be experiencing their own folk culture and making new friends through dance and song.
During the two main events on Thursday and Sunday (opening and closing ceremonies) we must expressly request that, considering the number of participants, the groups perform together with other groups from the same region (on 4 or 5 stages) as far as possible. Nevertheless, each group will have the opportunity to take part in at least one of these events if possible.
However, as performances are also planned both in the city and in the surrounding area, in this part of the programme, the groups will be able to perform on their own or with several other groups!
As a part of the modernisation of our summer meeting, we have formed a team of directors. This team has been assigned with the clear task of modernising the content and concept of the event.
We would also like to devote more and more attention to children’s and youth groups over the next few years. Following a promising start for this part of the programme in Horsens, a separate programme is being planned for these groups.
