Dear Friends of Europeade

It is with profound regret that we must inform you that Europeade 2026 in Bergamo, Italy cannot take place and is therefore cancelled.

The International Europeade Committee has devoted all possible efforts to preserve the event. Unfortunately, despite these efforts, no solution could be achieved. The local organising partner, Ducato di Piazza Pontida, has confirmed that it will not continue the organisation of Europeade 2026. As the successful organisation of the event necessarily depended on the continued cooperation and commitment of the local organiser, IEC has been left with no viable possibility to proceed with Europeade this year.

We are acutely aware of the disappointment this announcement will cause. Many groups have invested substantial time, effort in preparing for their participation. We sincerely share your disappointment and deeply regret that this outcome could not be avoided.

IEC accepts no responsibility whatsoever for groups who, on their own initiative, decide to travel to Bergamo after all, nor for any activities (gatherings, performances, playing music, etc.) they may undertake whilst there."
